Quanta Multi Parameter Water Quality Analyzer
Quanta Multi Parameter Water Quality Analyzer
Product details
  • Detailed Introduction

HACH/Hydrogelab is proud to introduce Quanta, another member of our water quality monitoring instrument family. In the process of designing Quanta, our goal is to produce a beautiful and user-friendly multi parameter instrument that is priced lower than all similar products on the market - without sacrificing data quality.
Compact and comprehensive
Quanta is a comprehensive system that can simultaneously monitor multiple water quality parameters. It can operate in water at a depth of 100 meters. Quanta's display screen is sturdy and durable, with a waterproof rating of NEMA 6, capable of storing 200 sets of data, and can display 5 parameters at once. Quanta displays and cables form a compact and lightweight system with good cost-effectiveness.
Multiple applications
Quanta is designed to monitor rivers, lakes, streams, oceans, and any water body in between. It can be applied to both polluted and unpolluted water bodies. When equipped with an optional circulation pool, it can also be used to monitor the water quality parameters of groundwater.
Remoting
Hydrolab is able to provide Quanta with ground-based and buoy based recording and communication systems. With advanced communication technology, you can access your data from anywhere in the world.
Why choose Quanta?
Quanta can measure the following parameters:
● Temperature
● Dissolved oxygen
● Conductivity/Salinity
● PH
● ORP
● Depth
Pressure (immersion depth can reach up to 10 meters)
● 4 beam turbidity
Quanta is equipped with the most popular SDI interface and can be connected to many third-party data loggers. Up to 10 Quanta transmitters can be connected together.
Except for the four beam turbidity sensor that uses GLI's Method 2, which is recognized under the Drinking Water Safety Act, all sensors and sample circulators from Hash Company comply with the technical parameters set by the water and wastewater standard inspection methods. This is also a standard that has long been recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Optional accessories include backpacks, circulation pools, and Saike boards.
Quanta's display adopts an intuitive and simple menu system. The system can store up to 200 sets of data and can quickly calibrate instruments.
The Quanta system mainly consists of three parts - the Quanta transmitter, which is used to accommodate sensors; The second part is Quanta display, used for power supply and data display; The third part is to connect the cables. The core of Quanta instruments is Hydrolab's excellent sensor technology, which has undergone rigorous on-site testing and has been proven to provide you with reliable water quality data.
Excellent sensor technology:
Temperature - Using highly stable thermistors in 316 stainless steel pipes, calibration is not required for life.
Dissolved oxygen - using on-site validated Clarkson membrane technology. Can provide continuous and stable readings. Low maintenance rate, easy cleaning and maintenance, and low cost. No need to restore the sensor.
Dissolved oxygen sample cycler
Reference electrode with recoverable conductivity
4 beam turbidity temperature
Depth of Ph and ORP electrodes
PH - Use standard PH glass electrodes and unique recoverable reference electrodes. Our reference electrode is more reliable, has a longer usage time, is easier to maintain, and can be refilled within seconds. No need to replace the sensor.
ORP - Use standard platinum electrodes.
Conductivity - using standard four electrode technology. Open pool design, easy to maintain, and provides more reliable data - bubbles and sediment will not affect the sensor.
Depth - Use customized pressure sensors with high stability. There are two ranges to choose from -0-25 meters and 0-100 meters.
Pressure - When the range is 0-10 meters, Quanta's accuracy can reach 0.003 meters. Accuracy is effective across all temperature ranges, not just for 25 ℃. The ventilation opening can automatically adjust for changes in atmospheric pressure.
Turbidity - provided four beam turbidity. The four beam turbidity sensor has strong pollution resistance and accurate measurement. The optional quick calibration module makes calibration and confirmation work very simple.
Quanta Display
● It can display readings of 5 parameters at once.
● Simple and intuitive operation.
● Low battery indicator.
It can store 200 sets of data.
Calibration is simple.
We can provide a sample cycler for you to obtain more accurate readings.
The Quanta integrated sample cycler can generate a stream of water through the sensor. Miniature circulators can help achieve fast, accurate, and stable dissolved oxygen measurement, and can provide the following benefits for other sensors:
Shortening response time - This is crucial when detecting flowing pollutants or when sensors move up and down in water.
The harmful effects of sensor contamination can be reduced by sweeping away debris and inhibiting the activity of microorganisms (bacteria, algae, fungi) attached to the sensor.
With the sample cycler, the instrument can be applied in all environments without being limited by flow rate. This instrument can be applied in areas with poor mixing in water bodies, as well as in porous stainless steel or PVC pipes with extremely low flow rates.
Four beam turbidity sensor
Selection of turbidity monitoring
The patented four beam turbidity sensor combines many technologies used in water plants, where accurate and reliable readings are crucial. The sensor complies with ISO7027 and has the following characteristics:
Pollution compensation - This technology can automatically calculate and compensate for pollution on optical lenses. Scattered bubbles will not affect the turbidity reading.
Not affected by ambient light - The technology of this patent is not affected by ambient light. Therefore, turbidity sensors can be applied in shallow rivers and streams.
Strong light source - provides stable and accurate measurements.
Quick Calibration Module - Provides a unique, patented module for calibration and confirmation. The rapid calibration module can be used as a second standard to verify the calibration of the 4-beam turbidity sensor.
Accuracy - The four beam technology makes the sensor the most accurate sensor among on-site monitoring instruments currently available on the market.
High range - the sensor can be applied in water bodies ranging from 0 to 1000 NTU.
